The XP ICON is made for detectorists who want to switch on, pick a program and start swinging. It runs XP's FMF simultaneous multi-frequency in a light, fully wireless setup: the coil and remote talk to each other with no cable on the stem.
- Simple start: 3 factory programs (Beach & Surf, Park, Field) plus 3 slots for your own settings.
- Frequency choice: simultaneous multi-frequency up to 40 kHz, or single 4 or 14 kHz.
- Easy to carry: about 1.6 lb fully equipped with the remote off the stem, folding to roughly 23 in.
- Water rating, honestly: IP68 to 5 ft with the remote cap closed; 16 ft only with the optional BH-02 bone conduction headphones.
- Room to grow: works with XP WSA ST and WSA XL ST wireless headphones (not included in this kit).
It charges by USB-C, runs about 11 hours per charge, and carries a 3-year warranty that becomes 5 years when you register it with XP.
