I like this rugged but lightweight sand scoop/shovel. It stood up well to hard packed sand/pebbles. As with other long-handled scoops or shovels, would be great to see if a handle could be devised to aid in one-handed use but that’s probably more a concern for those like me operating on the beach with a semi-waterproof detector (coil only) than those with waterproof machines. My solution was to devise a shoulder strap for my Vanquish 540 to keep it up in the air & out of the way of the oncoming surf. This was a great buy though & I’ll try it on another beach soon.
